The population of the underwater town Bikini Bottom consists of various sea creatures. Among them is SpongeBob's best friend, the starfish named Patrick, the irritable, arrogant squid Squidward, and a squirrel named Sandy, who also lives underwater, using a diving suit. SpongeBob works as a cook at the Krusty Krab, which is run by the old miser Mr. Krabs.
