The action of the animated series takes place after the heroes finish their senior year in high school. Believing that they won’t be able to spend the summer together for a while yet, they decide to set off in their Mystery Machine, which Fred has upgraded with his state-of-the-art gadgets. As you can probably guess, they will encounter many monsters along the way, who will constantly try to prevent Scooby-Doo and his gang from completing their journey.
