Loki has seized power in Asgard, having bound his brother Thor in chains, defiled his beloved Sif, and also cast his father Odin into prison. Loki attempts to construct a new order, issues brutal edicts, and behaves toward others with extreme recklessness. Gradually he transforms from the hunted to the pursuer, from a victim into a tyrant. Yet fate cannot be escaped — and the witch Karnilla will tell him about the inevitable future. What will Loki do upon learning of his impending downfall?
