Zak Saturdey and his parents, Doc and Drew, are a brave family of scientists who have dedicated their lives to hunting mystical creatures—the cryptids. This includes the Loch Ness Monster, the bloodthirsty chupacabra, the Yeti, the Mothman, the terrifying Medusa, and the fire-breathing dragon. Ordinary bedtime fairy tales read to children become the Saturdeys' real world, full of danger and adventure. Traveling the world, to abandoned cities, exploring ancient temples, crawling into bottomless caves, and descending into the deepest depths of the world's oceans, they encounter villains everywhere and fearlessly fight them.
