Kodo Ikusei Senior High School is a prestigious educational institution, with nearly 100% of its graduates subsequently entering universities or securing solid, well-paid jobs. Students at the school are not restricted in their choice of hairstyles or accessories. At first glance, the school seems like a paradise, but in this new reality, all the benefits are enjoyed only by the top students. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, during the entrance exams, made a grievous mistake, as a result of which he was sent to Class D, where students dubbed as 'outcasts' end up, and are mocked by the rest of the school. But after meeting his classmates Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida, his life begins to change.
