Riley is already a teenager, and the headquarters of her brain is undergoing a major renovation to make room for new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust somehow unexpectedly herald the appearance of Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Boredom. Riley, with her two best friends, goes to a hockey camp, where she has a chance to make the high school team, and Joy is sure that she knows best what to do in this situation. Anxiety thinks so too.
