The 16-year-old Jim Hawkins sets off in search of the mysterious Treasure Planet in the company of real space pirates. Under the guidance of the ship's cook, a cyborg named John Silver, he becomes a skilled space traveler and on more than one occasion saves the space galleon from the gravest dangers: black holes, supernova explosions, and cosmic storms.
