As a proper introvert, he lives in a dark cave at the very top of a mountain, far away from everyone, but this 'crowd' is preparing the grandest New Year's celebration. They're noisy, they decorate everything, and they drive him crazy. Who would pass up the chance to spoil the celebration? The Grinch decides to steal the New Year.
