After a military experiment that had spiraled out of control, Tasmania was engulfed by a deadly neural wave. An American named Eva arrives on the island and joins a squad of volunteers who are supposed to collect corpses, and if they encounter the 'awakened', they must immediately report it to the military. When Eva and her partner find a motorcycle, they head to the forbidden zone, where her husband is presumably located.
