Chloe Marvino escapes with her children from her husband, who works for the mafia. The bandits follow Chloe hot on her heels, and she has to flee from them through the forest. There, she meets the enigmatic hermit Jake, who helps her fend off the attackers. Soon Chloe realizes that Jake poses far greater danger to her than her husband's goons.
