A young writer named Jennifer arrives in a remote area far from large cities to write a new novel in a rented house. To avoid going out for groceries, she places an order at a store that offers courier delivery. A mentally disabled young man named Matthew delivers her order, and, turning back, he tells his friends about Jennifer. They plan to take advantage of the situation — the girl is unlikely to be able to call for help or defend herself — and they sneak into her home.
