Four survivors of the Woodsboro massacre—the Carpenter sisters and the twins Chad and Mindy—moved to New York, where they try to start their lives anew. Sam visits a psychotherapist, and, to Tara's dismay, she trembles at every step she takes, but, as it soon becomes clear, it's not for nothing. The Ghost Face-masked killer begins killing again, and, as Mindy suspects, among the suspects it's not worth ruling out new acquaintances, nor old friends.
