A group of students sneaks into Nightmare Park at night, where a mysterious ancient oak grows. According to the local legend, this tree is cursed, and anyone who touches it will die a terrible death. Fletcher, a brutish guy, eggs the girls on to touch the tree after him, believing that the urban legend is just a fairy tale for children. Before long, they disappear. Then his friends begin to die. Ember and a female friend must unravel the mystery of the cursed park and uncover the origin of the urban legend in order to outsmart death.
