Ann Rule is a former police inspector who works at a crisis line in Seattle and also writes detective stories on the side. Ann has a daughter, an interesting job, and a good friend Ted Bundy. Ted is an intelligent and handsome young man who was recently accepted into a law school in the state of Utah. Lately, Ann becomes involved in a string of brutal murders and cases of missing women that strangely stretches from Seattle to Utah. The crimes become the most high-profile case since Jack the Ripper, and Ann is offered the biggest chance in her career—to write a book about the killer. The more Ann investigates the case, the deeper she dives and the more she learns about the dark soul of the bloodthirsty killer. Ann realizes that all the evidence points to her friend Ted, but she cannot believe that this charismatic man is one of the most terrifying murderers in American history. Dear users!
