Two brilliant physicists, Leonard and Sheldon, great minds who understand how the universe is built. But their genius doesn't help them communicate with people, especially with women. Everything begins to change when a beautiful Penny moves in across the hall from them. Also worth noting is a pair of strange friends of these physicists: Wolowitz, who likes to use phrases in various languages, including Russian, and Rajesh Koothrappali, who loses his ability to speak in front of women.
