King Yuri, the son of Goguryeo’s first king, the great Kodzhumona, is, first and foremost, a father, and only then a ruler. To his son Mukhyulyu, immediately after birth, the fortune-teller foretold a fateful fate: the boy would kill his own mother, his brother, his father, and even his own son, and because of him the kingdom of Goguryeo would fall, and the people would suffer. The fortune-teller insists that the biological father, with his own hands, take the newborn son’s life.
