On the continent, a conflict rages between the Zizhuan clan and the Saizhun clan. Zizhuan Xu, after securing a string of military victories at the border, returns to the capital and brings a brief peace to his realm. However, this outcome does not please everyone: an influential nobleman rises in rebellion. Zizhuan Xu, together with his sworn brothers Di Linem and Si Yilinem, quells the threat and restores peace to the troubled Zizhuan realm. Zizhuan Xu cannot shake off the effects of the rebellion when the Saizhun clan declares war. The brothers leave their homeland and ride into battle to defend their home and loved ones.
