The action of the series takes place in the United States of America during the Great Depression. The main heroine is a petite, charming girl named Bonnie Parker. She has a failed marriage behind her, and ahead lies a bleak, unrelenting despair. She works as a waitress in a repulsive roadside cafe. Her life is dark and dull, and there is no hope of changing anything. One day Bonnie meets a guy named Clyde Barrow. He is young, hot-blooded, handsome, and incredibly charming. And what attracts the heroine most is his charisma and his disregard for laws and established rules. Clyde doesn't give a damn about anything; he lives by his own rules.
