The series follows the adventures of Tim and Daisy, who rent an apartment in Marsha Klein's house, pretending to be a couple. Their friends throw Daisy out of the house, and Tim is kicked out by his girlfriend, who left him for his former friend, and they are forced to lie. Also in the house lives a depressed painter, Bryan; Tim has a best friend, Mike, who is gun-obsessed; Daisy is friends with Twist, and Marsha constantly has problems with her daughter. Together they continually find themselves in funny situations and amusing adventures.
