Acupuncturist Yu-Se-phun serves at court and is held in high regard by the local nobility. One day, amid a government conspiracy, he is forced to flee the capital far from the king's wrath and finds shelter in a picturesque village. There he meets the eccentric healer Keji-han and begins helping him. And it's not so much acupuncture as the young man's ability to talk to the patient, to help him with words and genuine care.
