Thirty years after the events of the television series Battlestar Galactica, the fugitive fleet finally reaches its legendary destination. But Commander Adama discovers that Earth in 1980 is not technologically developed enough to aid them in their battle with the Cylons. Moreover, upon arriving on Earth, the Battlestar Galactica unintentionally exposes a helpless planet to a Cylon attack, thereby dooming all of humanity.
