Nick Sax, a perpetually drunk former policeman, becomes a hired killer. He drifts through a world of random deaths, sex, and betrayal. When one of his jobs goes awry, Sax's life of drunkenness is forever changed by the appearance of a tiny, eternally optimistic, imaginary blue-winged unicorn.
