The action takes place in 1942, several months after the Allies had cracked the Enigma cipher machine's code, and a new wave of anti-Nazi resistance spread through the occupied territories. The crew of the famous submarine, led by the new captain Klaus Hoffman, will have to endure even harsher trials and military engagements. The Submarine is a story about difficult choices, survival, the limits of human emotions, and the harsh truth of life during a senseless war.
