Yon-i, after her father's death, lives in an orphanage, from which she is taken into the family of her father's friend. Relations in the new family do not develop well; the cruel stepmother, Ms. Song, together with her daughter and her half-sister, oppose the girl. They believe Yon-i does not fit into their circle, so the girl decides to build her own happiness. To help her, two young men step in: Kan Min, who despite his father's objections dreams of pursuing a career as a singer, and Lee Jun-hee, a leading designer at one of the fashion houses.
