Winter of 1985, in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. The locals confront mysterious monsters from a parallel dimension that breach into the human world through a portal. Eleven, a girl with telekinetic abilities, escaped from the same secret laboratory, whose experiments opened gates to another world, and together with her friends she battles manifestations of another reality.
