The story is about a girl living in another dimension named Star Butterfly, who received a magic wand at the age of 14. But after Star nearly turned her hometown to dust, her parents sent her to another dimension called Earth to live with the Diaz family, which consists of kind-hearted parents and a teenager named Marco. All of his classmates and friends consider him a quiet kid who even avoids a simple fall. Marco thinks this is untrue, and because of such a reputation the teenager longs for adventures and dangers.
