Demetra 227, a cargo ship, suffers an accident somewhere deep in space. Part of the crew evacuates to the planet Vesta, and some time later two crew members, with the help of the remaining equipment, manage to gain control of the ship and land it successfully. The Demetra’s descent into the atmosphere is witnessed by other survivors, and hoping to return home they set out to search for it across a mesmerizing and deadly world — Captain Sami; biologist Ursula; technician Aziv from the robotics company, thanks to a mysterious organism that gradually gains consciousness and awareness; Kaymen, under the influence of a creature that hypnotically compels him to procure food for it.
