The animated series tells the adventures of an exceptionally gifted boy living in the city of Retroville. Jimmy Neutron is a great inventor, but his brilliant inventions often get him into trouble or create a situation that would nearly destroy humanity. Such situations compel Jimmy to find a solution to the problem he caused, and usually he himself saves the world from the consequences of his inventions.
