Eva lives in a bunker and is raised by a robot guardian Mutrom. On her sixteenth birthday, after an attack on the bunker, she finds herself on the surface of a strange planet named Orbona, where there are no other people. Eva sets out in search of her home in the company of a giant tardigrade named Otto and a quarrelsome alien Rovender.
