To avoid the cold approaching due to the onset of the Ice Age, animals migrate south. However, a lonely, dour mammoth named Manfred and the reckless sloth Sidresh decide to stay. They accidentally stumble upon a human child. They set out on a journey to return him to his people. Along the way, a sly saber-toothed tiger joins them.
