Barbie lives on a magical planet with her father, a space pilot, and happily spends time with her pet—a fluffy cat named Popcorn. She deftly glides across the skies on her flyboard and dreams of traveling through space. One day Barbie's father receives a troubling message: the stars in the Galaxy are gradually fading, so the king of the planet gathers a team to rekindle the lights. To take part in this important and dangerous mission, the King's Council chose Barbie, because the subjects are sure that she is a true leader and a star princess. Now the brave girl must complete the mission: to explore a new world and reach the center of the Galaxy to save the stars. She will be helped by new astronaut friends and unseen fantastic creatures.
