Having inherited an abbey in Spain, a widow with two children spent her days renovating it when a devil possessed her son and, as his first demand, required that a priest be brought to him. The famous exorcist Gabriel Amort, at the Pope's request, sets out to save the boy, and upon his arrival immediately realizes that the demon he faces is very powerful and cunning.
