The population of genetically modified monkeys, led by Caesar, continues to grow, but the monkeys are threatened by humans who managed to survive the terrible epidemic from ten years ago. At first, a fragile peace is established between the rivals, but it proves short-lived. The monkeys and humans are on the brink of war, during which it will be revealed which of them will one day rule the planet unchallenged.
