Marco Han, a young boxer—the so-called Kopino, of Korean-Filipino blood—has lived in the Philippines his whole life and has never met his Korean father. His mother is gravely ill, so trying to raise money for treatment, the young man grabs any opportunity to earn money and searches for Korean relatives. One day lawyers come to him, claiming that his rich father has finally found his long-lost kin and wants to meet. Marco flies to Korea, but even on the plane the young man is being intimidated by a strange man who calls himself his friend.
