Min Tae-yeon is not a typical vampire or a typical prosecutor. Instead of drinking the blood of innocent victims, he chooses blood bought on the black market or in upscale bars in Seoul. He has a strange ability to sense the place where the victim died, and most importantly, how she died. He can determine all of this solely based on the smell and taste of her blood. The only person who knows this secret ability is Detective Hwan Sun-beom, with whom he has a temporary collaboration on yet another murder case. Soon, rookie prosecutor Yoo Jon-in and young specialist Choe Don-man join their team. Together they investigate murder cases, and every time Tae-yeon uses his abilities to solve seemingly unsolvable tasks. But there is one single thing he cannot understand for so long: who was the vampire who turned him seven years ago.
