For two weeks now, HeFei has been unsuccessfully searching for his wife, who disappeared on a Thai island where they had come for their wedding anniversary. Suddenly a woman appears, claiming that she is HeFei's wife and, offended, has spent two weeks on the neighboring island. The man tries to convince the police that she is an impostor, but all her documents are in order, and there are even witnesses confirming her identity. When it turns out that HeFei, a former professional diver, has a neurological condition that requires him to take strong medications, the police refuse to open a case into his wife's disappearance. Soon the man's visa expires, and in desperation he turns to a famous lawyer who has never lost a case.
