Takatoshi Minamiyama studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at a university in Kyoto. One day on the train on the way to class, he sees Emi Fukudzi and falls in love at first sight. Mustering up his courage, he goes up to her to introduce himself. The two begin dating, and one day Emi reveals her secret to Takatoshi.
