The wife of a court security officer is found murdered. Soon investigators identify the main suspect, who turns out to be the son of an influential man. The defendant is defended by a slick lawyer, and the trial inexorably approaches an acquittal verdict, and a husband, grief-stricken, decides to intervene—takes up a weapon and seizes the hostages right in the middle of the proceedings.
