In Seattle, four young women disappeared within a short period. There is speculation that a serial killer has emerged in the city. An FBI unit specializing in behavioral analysis of criminals takes on the investigation of this case. At the head of this unit stands Jason Gideon, who, with his partners, tries to identify the perpetrator by constructing his psychological profile. Jason is not a frequent guest at FBI forensic laboratories. He and his team go to crime scenes, interview witnesses, and analyze and study the psychological aspects of the criminal's life.
