A story about the difficult childhood of the wunderkind Sheldon Cooper. The parents of the young genius do not share their son's passion for science: his mother is very religious, and his father, a former football coach, prefers to spend evenings in the company of beer and television. He also doesn't get along with his peers, because Sheldon is far more interested in things like where to obtain enriched uranium for scientific experiments.
