New York in the 1970s. Cormac O'Connor, an influential gangster and the manager of the Continental Hotel, has his coin press kidnapped—a device crucial not only for the hotel's operation, where hitmen reside, but for the interests of many dangerous parties. A higher-up criminal syndicate gives Cormac three days to locate the missing press, or he will be eliminated. The thief of such a valuable item is Frankie Scott, who has worked for Cormac since childhood and who had once ended up in prison because of him. His younger brother Winston runs a business in London, and Frankie has not spoken to him for many years. By Cormac's orders, his men forcibly bring Winston to New York to locate Frankie, his brother. Refusing to cooperate with the gangsters, Winston decides to find Frankie on his own to help him get out of this difficult situation.
