Kuzey was born in a remote, mountainous backwater and decided to move to Istanbul in search of a better life. And he did: he married, succeeded in business, and became a happy father of three daughters. Everything starts to go downhill when his wife runs away with the money. And then a close friend betrays him. Left with nothing, Kuzey returns home, where he has long been unwelcome.
