A monastery in the quiet, peaceful Ardennes village agrees to take him into guardianship. The locals are quite hostile toward the former convict, believing that he is a real monster who will surely fall back into his old ways. Soon, a mysterious disappearance of a little girl occurs. Of course, suspicion immediately falls on Gi Beranzhe. The villagers are already ready to take justice into their own hands, but Inspector Chloe of the Federal Police, who arrived at the scene, does not hurry to draw conclusions. With the backing of one of the monks, she intends to find out what really happened.
