Two priests from the Vatican Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith arrive in San-Akacho, a small town in Mexico, as emissaries. They go to verify the alleged miraculous healing performed by another priest, who disappears mysteriously. Shortly after their arrival, they encounter a psychiatric community on the outskirts that seems to hide more than one secret relating to the miracles and disappearances taking place there.
