The Story of Dex Pario, a veteran of military intelligence, who after leaving the service works as a private detective in Portland, Oregon. For money she easily solves other people's problems, finds missing persons, and tracks down unfaithful partners, but she completely forgets about her own troubles. Yet clients are dwindling, debts are mounting, and a dark past, in which there were many mistakes, is ready to make itself known again.
