Having killed a demon boar, the young Prince Ashitaka drew upon himself a deadly curse. An old herbalist predicted that only he himself could change his fate, and the brave warrior set out on a dangerous journey. Thus he found himself in a mysterious land, where people, under the leadership of the evil Lady Eboshi, fought the forest dwellers: spirits, demons, and gigantic beings that Ashitaka had never seen before. And there was Princess Mononoke — mistress of beasts and daughter of a wolf. Now the fate of all depends on one warrior, Prince Ashitaka.
