In a civilized society of anthropomorphic animals, relations between carnivores and herbivores are quite tense. At Cherryton Academy, this mutual distrust peaks after an incident in the school's drama club, which results in the death of Tem, the alpaca. His friend, the gray wolf Legoshi, has spent his life under baseless suspicion, so even after the tragedy he continues to live in the shadows, suppressing his instincts, which greatly irritates Louis, the club's formidable star actor. Soon Louis assigns Legoshi to duty, and on the very first night he encounters Haru, the rabbit whom his peers despise. The wolf falls in love with her, and his feelings compel him to confront his true nature, the circumstances surrounding his friend's death, and the hidden violence poisoning the surrounding world.
