Everything got mixed up at the Transylvania Hotel: Van Helsing's mysterious invention, the "monstrifying ray," breaks and accidentally turns Dracula and his friends into humans, while Johnny, on the contrary, becomes a monster. Deprived of their powers and their familiar appearances, Dracula, his friends, and Johnny—who, with unexpected pleasure, reveals his monstrous nature—set off on a world-spanning journey in search of a means to undo the transformations. And, of course, they cannot do without Mavis's help, before it is too late, and they do not let each other down.
