Wendy grew up, and now she has her own children, and every evening she tells them stories about Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up. Wendy's stubborn twelve-year-old daughter, Jane, has no desire whatsoever to listen to any of this nonsense. That is why Captain Hook uses the girl as a hostage in his war against his arch-enemy.
