Brooklyn. Stripper Anora, who prefers the name Eni, meets Vanya, the son of a Russian oligarch, who spends all his time at parties and entertainments. Soon the guy buys a week of Eni's time, offers to fly to Vegas, and then the two young people spontaneously marry. After learning about it from the newspapers, Vanya's parents fly into a rage and urgently fly out of Russia to the United States, and to sort out the situation they enlist a New York-based Armenian named Toros, who was supposed to look after their son.
